3. How do I uninstall Offer Assistant Stand-Alone?

   If you have the full Billeo Suite and/or run Offer Assistant via Internet Explorer, please click here for removal instructions.

   
   

   For removing Chrome, Firefox, and/or Safari-only versions of Offer Assistant, please take the following steps:

   
   

   Chrome: Right-Click the Billeo Icon in your Browser >> Select "Manage extensions..." >> Click "Uninstall" beneath the Offer Assistant listing

   
   

   Firefox: on Windows: Click "Firefox" tab >> Select "Add-ons" >> Click "Remove" to the right of the Offer Assistant / Billeo listing

   
   

   Safari (Mac): Click "Safari" in your Menu Bar >> Select "Preferences" >> Select the "Extensions" tab >> Click on the Offer Assistant listing >> Click "Uninstall"

4. How much does your software/service cost?

   Billeo is free. We have never charged for our product.

    

   If you choose to pay your bills online please be aware some billers may charge a fee to accept your payment. Billeo is neither associated with nor benefits from these fees. Be sure to check the policies of the individual biller prior to committing your payment.
5. I've forgotten my password--What now?

   Don't panic, you’ll just need to follow these simple steps in order to reset your password quickly and securely

   • Go to the Billeo Homepage
   • Click on Sign in, then the Forgot your password? link
   • Enter your registered e-mail address or Billeo username

   To make sure that you are the only person who can reset your password, Billeo will send a verification e-mail to your registered e-mail address. The link will lead you to a page where you will need to answer a couple of security questions.

    

   Alternatively, you can click the Billeo icon in your browser, then click Sign In, and select the Forgot Password? link from the window. You will then need to follow the same steps above to reset your password quickly and securely.
6. What if I decide to cancel? Is Billeo a hassle to remove?

   We hope and expect that once you try Billeo you won't want to leave; however, canceling an account is as easy as creating one:

    

   • Click the Billeo Icon in your browser or in your system tray on the lower right-hand side of your desktop (next to the date and time)
   • Hover over Help with your mouse
   • Click uninstall ~ If you use a Mac or only have Billeo on Firefox, you can uninstall the browser app by, in Firefox, clicking Tools >> Add-ons >> Extensions >> Uninstall (next to the Billeo listing).

    

   Once you've uninstalled Billeo, you can cancel your account by clicking here »
7. Can I switch to Firefox from Internet Explorer without starting over?

   You can install Billeo into Firefox and access all your saved data. Your best bet is to reinstall Billeo. Just click "Get Billeo+ Beta" in the upper right-hand corner of this page. The installer will remove Billeo (without touching your saved data) and re-install it to IE and Firefox. Ignore the registration screen and sign back into to your old account to access your saved passwords.

    

   If, after re-installing Billeo, the browser app is not visible in Mozilla Firefox, please double-check to ensure it is installed as an extension. You can view your currently installed extensions by selecting the Tools menu (in Firefox) and selecting the Add Ons / Extensions button.

    

   If Billeo is not listed in your Extensions menu, you can manually install the extension.

    

   To do this, please take the following steps:

    

   • Right click on the Start button on your desktop
   • Select Explore
   • Click on Local Disk (C:)
   • Click on Program Files
   • Click on Billeo
   • Drag and drop a file called billeotoolbar.xpi to an open Firefox window--just drop it anywhere in the Firefox window.
   • Exit all Firefox windows
   • Open Firefox again -- Billeo should be present in Firefox now

8. How can I move my Billeo files to another or
   new computer?

   You can easily copy your passwords and eWallet information ("Vault") to the new computer. It is also a good idea to use the same steps to backup your Vault frequently.

    

   Backup:

   • In your browser click the Billeo icon and select Settings
   • Re-enter your Billeo password, if asked
   • Click on the Backup Vault button
   • Specify a folder where you want to backup your Vault. This folder can be a hard-drive, a network drive, a USB key chain drive or an online file syncing service.

    

   Restore:

   • Go to the other computer and Sign In using the same Billeo username and password
   • In your browser click the Billeo icon and select Settings
   • Re-enter your Billeo password, if asked
   • Click on the Restore Vault button
   • Specify the same folder where you had earlier backed up your Vault

    

   You can use the same Billeo Account on multiple computers. All of your saved passwords are saved locally on your computer. This means if you save a new password on one computer, only that computer will be automatically fill in the newly saved password. Your second computer will need to be synchronized by transferring your most recent password vault to it.
9. Having Billeo save my personal information sounds dangerous? Is it safe?

   Your privacy and security is our top priority at Billeo.We believe that you should own your personal information, not us. Other than your e-mail address and zip code, we ask for no personally identifiable information.

    

   Passwords and credit card/bank account details are kept on your own PC as encrypted data. Saved pages are encrypted and kept on the Billeo servers. We constantly monitor the latest in security to ensure that your data is never at risk.
10. Can I disable the features I don't use?

    Definitely. Just follow these steps:

    • Click the Billeo icon in your browser
    • Click Settings
    • Check/uncheck the box next to a given feature you wish to enable/disable in the Assistants and Look & Feel sections of the sidebar
